Dr Amin Masoumi

Dr Amin Masoumi is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty interests in shoulder, elbow, hand, and knee surgery. After completing his orthopaedic training in Australia, he undertook advanced fellowships in upper limb surgery, including the Australian Shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship, and further subspecialised training in hand, wrist and Elbow surgery in Sydney, Canberra and the Netherlands.

Dr Masoumi also trained internationally in microsurgery at Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam and completed an upper limb reconstructive fellowship with A/Prof Chris Roberts. Alongside his surgical qualifications, Dr Masoumi holds a Master of Sports Medicine from the University of Queensland, complementing his focus on sports-related injuries and recovery.

Dr Masoumi is involved in ongoing research and education. He has presented internationally and remains active in mentoring junior doctors, as well as contributing to clinical advancements in orthopaedics.

Dr Masoumi consults privately in Canberra alongside leading orthopaedic surgeons at Orthopaedics ACT, which primarily focuses on upper limb and trauma care.

Dr Masoumi also consults publicly and privately in Grafton / Coffs Harbour, Sydney and now Goulburn.
