Peter’s undergraduate qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of Audiometry (New England Award) from the University of New England. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Sleep Science from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Clinical Audiology from Charles Darwin University. Peter is a member of both the Australian College of Audiology and Independent Audiologists Australia and provides the following diagnostic services at the Goulburn Heath Hub on Mondays:

Capital Hearing

Audiology – Paediatric and Adult Hearing Assessments

Hearing Test Cost: $115 (Medicare rebate applies)

  • Paediatric Assessment from 9 months of age
  • 9 months to 2.5 years – Visual Reinforcement Orientation Audiometry (VROA)
  • 2.5 years to 6 years – Conditioned Play Audiometry
  • 6 years and up – Pure Tone Audiometry
  • Speech Tests (age appropriate)
  • Tympanometry
  • Impedance Audiometry (Acoustic Reflexes)
  • Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE’s)
  • Audiometric Assessments for Adults

We are unable to provide hearing aids

All appointments require a doctor’s referral

Connect Hearing

Elvira comes to the Health Hub every Wednesday. There is a Private fee of $150, with a $55 rebate with a GP referral, for testing but if you are a DVA Card holder or Pensioner the test is bulk billed. Hearing Aid prices vary.
