Health and Specialist Centre
The Medical Centre and Specialist Centre is the heart of the Goulburn Health Hub. Our staff pride themselves on providing patients with top-class care, time, and attention. Patients enjoy visiting our light, spacious, and aesthetically designed rooms within our state-of-the-art facility.
General Practitioners (GPs)
Our GPs work independently and offer bulk billing for DVA patients, pension card holders, healthcare card holders, and children under 16. Private patient fees can be found here.
Our GPs
– All of our GPs bulk bill ALL patients (except for procedures and some medical licence approvals).
– Dr Jennifer St Croix, Dr Aravinda Pradeep and Dr Waqas Khan consult full-time. Their interests include chronic disease management, women’s health, and skin cancer.
– Dr Saeid Tahmasebi consults on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays, with interests in men’s health, pediatrics, mental health, and family general practice.
– Dr Claire Cupitt consults on varying days and provides locum services to rural towns in Western NSW. Her special interests include acupuncture, chronic pain, skin checks, paediatrics, women’s health, and IUD insertion.
– Dr Janet Ninio runs a skin cancer clinic and has over 30 years of experience. She bulk bills pensioners for consults.
– Dr Asma Zia consults Tuesday to Friday
-Dr Sima Ghaffari – consulting Wednesay to Friday with interest in women’s and children’s health.
Practice Services
Our GPs provide a wide range of services, including but not limited to
- General medicine and physical checkups
- ECG heart checks, counselling, and sexual health
- Child health and immunizations, flu vaccinations
- Spirometry, minor surgery, and skin checks
- Pre-employment and executive health checks
- Women’s health (pap smears, pregnancy, menopause management, family planning)
- Men’s health, health assessments, and travel medicine
- Pain management, sports medicine, Q Fever, and hearing tests

The General Practice is open:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Appointments
Bookings: Appointments can be made over the phone or online via our website: goulburnhealthhub.com.
On-the-day appointments: Reserved for existing patients. Walk-ins are accommodated based on availability.
Emergencies: We reserve appointments on the day for urgent appointments but we recommend calling 000 or making your way to the Goulburn Base Hospital in a true emergency.
Telehealth Appointments
Telehealth appointments are available for patients who have been physically seen by one of our GPs in the past 12 months. COVID-positive patients may access telehealth even without a prior visit.
If you have not been seen in the past 12 months, you can book a privately billed telehealth appointment and pay prior to the consult.
Telehealth appointments are available during normal clinic hours.

Dr Zia is passionate about delivering patient-centred, holistic care to individuals and families across all ages and stages of life.
Dr Claire Cupitt
Dr Cupitt has 30+ years in rural GP, specialising in acupuncture for chronic pain. Uses painless laser techniques. Part-time availability. Call for acupuncture consults.
Dr Janet Ninio
Dr Ninio specialises in skin cancer checks & procedures with 20+ years of experience. Bulk bills pensioners & under 16s. Fees apply for procedures & no-shows.
Dr Saeid Tahmasebi
Dr Saeid Tahmasebi (FRACGP) has 20+ years of experience. He specialises in minor skin surgeries, men’s health, paediatrics, and mental health. Dr Saeid is our Clinical Director. He consults Wed through Friday and via telehealth on Saturdays. Passionate about comprehensive GP care.
Dr Waqas Khan
Dr Waqas Khan, with 10+ years in Australia, specialises in skin cancer, paediatrics & geriatrics. Bulk bills ALL patients. Offers aesthetic medicine like injectables & fillers.
Dr Jennifer St Croix
Dr Jennifer St Croix is from the US and has a broad interest in medicine. She can assist with quitting smoking, early stage pregnancy terminations, cortisone injections and cosmetic injections.
Dr Aravinda Hettiarachchige
Dr Aravinda Hettiarachchige has more than 8 years of clinical experience including internal medicine, general surgery, Anaesthesia, emergency medicine and general practice.
Dr Sima Ghaffari
Dr Ghaffari is a GP with a passion for women’s and children’s health. She has been a doctor since 2019 and is experienced in all fields of medicine including chronic disease management and geriatric medicince. After Hours and Emergency Care
- If you require urgent medical attention outside our opening hours, please attend the Emergency Department at Goulburn Base Hospital.
- In a medical emergency, call Triple Zero (000).
Home and Nursing Home Visits
- Home visits:
Available for regular patients who cannot attend the surgery due to their condition. Home visits are available at the discretion of your GP.
- Nursing home visits:
Dr Waqas Khan sees nursing home patients. Please call to arrange an appointment after transferring records and completing new patient forms
Fees and Billing Arrangements
Some doctors bulk bill, while others mix bill. Pensioners, healthcare card holders, and children under 16 are bulk billed by all GPs.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation. Billing policies are displayed at reception.
Non-attendance fees: A fee applies if you miss an appointment without notice. After two missed appointments, a $100 deposit is required for future bookings.
Communication and Telephone Policy
- Staff will take your details over the phone or via email at info@goulburnhealthhub.com.
- We aim to respond to non-urgent enquiries as soon as possible during business hours. Email should not be used for urgent medical matters.
Test Results and Reminder System
Test Results: Your doctor will advise when your results are expected and whether a follow-up appointment is required. Please make an appointment to discuss your results unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Reminder system: Register to receive reminders for health services appropriate to your care. You may opt out of receiving reminders at any time.
Management of Patient Health Information
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal health information. A copy of our Privacy Policy is available from reception.
Interpreter Services
- Interpreter services are available free of charge for patients who require assistance. Please let reception know when making your appointment.
