PAEDIATRICS

For over 20 years, Dr Reeta Singh has cared for children and their families, with a strong focus on complex and often multifaceted clinical presentations. Her work is grounded in careful listening, clinical depth, and a steady, thoughtful approach that families can rely on when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.

During her nearly decade-long role as a Senior Staff Specialist at Goulburn Base Hospital, Dr Singh supported children with complex and chronic conditions. Alongside general paediatrics, she has developed expertise in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD),developmental delay, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, and developmental trauma. She is experienced in comprehensive assessments and in developing practical, individualised management plans tailored to each child and family.

She has also been actively involved in teaching and mentorship, supervising advanced trainee paediatric registrars and resident medical officers, and contributing to the education of medical students. She values supporting the next generation of clinicians through calm guidance, shared learning, and clinical reasoning.

Families often come in carrying worry, questions, or a sense that something is not quite fitting for their child. Dr Singh’s approach is to take the time needed to truly understand the whole picture. She aims to make the journey less confusing, and more manageable, by offering clear explanations and realistic, step-by-step support.Many families value the sense of being heard properly, and of not having to navigate things alone.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, reading, writing, and spending time in nature.

Dr Singh is consulting at Goulburn Health Hub and looks forward to supporting children and families in the community with care, continuity, and understanding.
