SLEEP CLINIC

 

We offer fully accredited, home-based Level 2 sleep studies—providing a convenient and effective alternative to overnight hospital-based testing for investigating sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea. These studies are ideal for patients who prefer to sleep in the comfort of their own home.

Our home-based sleep studies record the same comprehensive physiological data as in-lab studies—monitoring brain activity (EEG), heart rate (ECG), oxygen levels, airflow, respiratory effort, limb movements, and sleep position. A qualified sleep technologist fits the equipment during your appointment at our clinic (approximately 45 minutes) and explains its use. Patients then go home, sleep with the device, and return it the next morning. All the data is analysed by an experienced sleep scientist and our respiratory and sleep specialist. A detailed sleep report is then sent to your referring doctor in two weeks. 

 

Eligible patients may access Medicare benefits. An out-of-pocket cost of $115 is payable on the day. Monday afternoon and evening appointments are available.
