Dr. Ramachandran is a consultant cardiologist dedicated to individualized, patient-centered care using the latest in diagnostic and evidence-based treatments.

After completing his medical degree at the University of Western Sydney, he underwent rigorous training in general and advanced cardiology at Liverpool Hospital and has held locum staff specialist roles at both Bankstown and Liverpool Hospitals.

He has a strong interest in complex valvular disease and congenital cardiology. Dr. Ramachandran is also deeply committed to medical education, mentoring students and trainees across all levels. He see’s patients 17 years and older

Dr Joseph Assad, MBBS. MSc Internal medicine, FRACP, Cardiologist

Dr Joseph Assad is a consultant cardiologist with an interest in heart rhythm disorders, cardiac devices and heart failure.

He holds current appointments at Liverpool Hospital and Sydney South West Private Hospital.

Joseph is highly proficient in the diagnosis and management of all cardiac conditions, with a particular interest in: Heart rhythm disorders; Chest pain and coronary artery disease; Shortness of breath; heart failure; Preventative health and risk factor modification; Pre-operative cardiac risk assessment; syncope and collapse and Pacemakers and Defibrillators.

Dr Patrick Pender, MBBS. MSc Internal medicine (Hons), FRACP., Cardiologist

Dr Patrick Pender consults fortnightly. He is a Specialist Cardiologist with expertise in all aspects of Adult Cardiology. He completed his Physician training and Cardiology Advanced training in Liverpool Hospital Sydney, where he was appointed chief medical registrar as well as awarded registrar of the year.

Dr Pender provides a comprehensive service in Goulburn. His special interests include management of complex valvular heart disease, atrial fibrillation and preventative health in coronary artery disease. Patients must be 16 years and 9months or older.
